Lucidity Takes on the Wuling Four Mountains, Reaching New Heights Together Through Teamwork

Hiking has long been an integral part of Lucidity’s team culture. From conquering the Seven Heroes of Guguan to taking on Taiwan’s Baiyue peaks, our colleagues continue to venture into the mountains, challenge themselves, and strengthen both body and mind through nature. By facing challenges together, they also build stronger connections and deepen their sense of camaraderie. This time, the Chairman led the management team in taking on the four Baiyue peaks collectively known as the “Wuling Four Mountains.” After three days and two nights of demanding high-mountain trekking, the entire team successfully completed the climb, writing another new chapter in Lucidity’s hiking culture.

The journey began at Wuling Farm. While the initial section of the trail appeared relatively gentle, the challenge became more demanding as the elevation increased, with steep terrain and prolonged ascents testing everyone’s physical strength. Along the way, the team was rewarded with magnificent mountain scenery and even had the opportunity to encounter protected native wild birds, adding an unexpected surprise to the demanding journey. When facing steep and challenging sections, team members reminded and looked after one another, moving forward step by step through terrain that required the use of both hands and feet. These shared experiences further strengthened the trust and bonds within the team.

The journey presented different challenges for everyone. Some had to cope with the fatigue of long hours of hiking, while others had to push through discomfort from previous injuries. As physical strength gradually declined and every step became heavier, the care and encouragement of teammates became an important source of motivation to keep moving forward. What began as an individual test of physical endurance became a shared team goal through mutual support. It was a true reflection of the spirit of “walking together and completing the journey together.”
